Picture of the Austin Texas skyline

It's been a while since we've been to Austin and I'm looking forward to the trip.

When I think of Austin, I think of the Wingate Inn in Round Rock (one of our favorite venues) and The County Line Bar B Q.  Can't wait.   We're supplying the lunch so we can keep going.  Don't worry, we will have plenty of breaks.

I hope all you Austin area irrigators will come ready to be stretched as you add another tool to your irrigation arsenal.  To enroll just navigate to our Schedule/Enroll tab and follow the directions.  You can enroll and pay on this site right now.  Hope you will.

[CAD Video Lesson] Quick Tip from a student’s question RE: Pro Contractor Studio

This question came in from a former continuing education student that was having problems keeping his mainline pipe at one inch.   This is a short (4 minutes) screencast using Pro Contractor Studio.

In case you haven't been to our CAD Class for Irrigation Design, the icon to the left is the mnemonic we us for step 11 that reminds us to size the pipe.  (The Pan Pipe's pitch is controlled by the size of the pipe.)

Here's the video

Respectfully,

Doug Saylor

P.S. If you have a question about RainCAD's Pro Contractor Studio, email me and I'll try to answer it via this blog medium.

This is our first try at using video to help other irrigators.  This is a short explanation of how to repair an in-line pipe break where an expansion coupling isn't practical.   We're asking for your email address so we can see who and how many views we get.  Thanks for watching.  Please leave your feedback so we know how we're doing.

Here's the video.
